I've been following him for a little while, with his home-milled Austin 7 head, Furby orchestra, and other creations, and then suddenly a Eurovision announcement!

Look Mum No Computer, aka musician Sam Battle, got one solitary point, ending up in last place....

A lot of people seem to criticise Sam but it is important to realise that he didn't choose to perform and he didn't expect to.

I'm sure he never even thought he would win.

The fact that anyone enjoys the music means that others can't really complain about it more than any other music. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean others don't.

I love what Sam does but do I think it is the best music piece? No. Do I think it is bad? No.

We always used to watch SFE as it was on the same weekend as L2B and we stayed in a hotel with sh## tv, since L2B ended  I tend  to slap a bit of grey emulsion on a wall and watch that for a similar entertainment value.

There is a London to Brighton Run, still. It’s not the organised, ticketed event.
Just a bunch of Mini Owners who don’t see the need to stop going to Brighton on a Sunday in May.
Look out for details of next year’s run.
