Hopefully it will stay in the UK.

But who knows maybe BMW MINI Heritage realised there were actually two race cars and bid (£80,500 inc. premium) for the 1978 Championship winning Longman 1275GT?.....so they can display it alongside the 1979 Championship winning Longman 1275GT that BMW already own.

Longman’s 1275 GT is part of the vehicle collection at BMW Group Classic.
