So after many years away from the mini scene, getting married, buying a house and having two kids ( one named Cooper).  I have finally bought a weekend toy.
 

Introducing Gonzo my 2000 MPi Cooper

 

Finally managed to get a dry day to give him a clear. 
 

Since getting him in February I have 

• fitted a new alloy throttle body and idle air control valve, as the car was idling around 2000 due to a warped throttle body and clogged IACV
• fitted Alloy 4 Pot Callipers and 8.4 Vented brakes
• fixed the stereo
• Fitted a manifold side exit single box as the previous exhaust was awful

Looking forward many adventures.

already signed up for the Thistle Run.  Think my last one was back in 2005 maybe. 
 

I see your event on the 5th.  Will maybe try and come.  Will be family dependent as that’s Easter weekend.  I remember Chris fondly from the minifinity days and our Scottish trips to the wigwams
