Hello - I have a '93 SPI MINI imported from Japan to the US and I have a leaking injector. I've got the injector out of the housing and I'm struggling to find the correct O ring sizes for injector.

I haven't found them listed in the normal places I use on the net to ship to the US and just 1 ebay ad from the UK. I'm really trying to find a US source. I'm sure they are just standard viton O rings.

Can someone tell me what the sizes are?

Thanks!

Interweb says the Bosch part number for the injector is  0-280-150-682. Maybe you could cross reference it to something that was more common across the pond?

Google chucked up 1 280 210 769 & 1 280 210 746 as "rubber rings"  supplied with the above injector.

Thanks

The internet doesn't help. I know what the part numbers are and because the injector is obsolete, the bosch part numbers for the o rings are equally obsolete.

There's youtube videos about changing them and there's people on ebayuk selling them, but no one seems to want to publish the sizes. I don't know why it's a secret.

Is this any help? Or is this the eBay listing you refer to above?

The seals in the link above are one option. Classic Mini NLA used to sell them...still might. I've found nothing on the US side. I am in NJ so maybe we 2 sets and save a smidge on shipping/tariffs?

I ordered them from the ebay UK link. I ordered 2 sets so I had an extra one.

I'm fairly positive the lower one is 7mm id x 12mm od x 2.5 CS. I ordered 4 of those from a place in GA that should be here today.

I ordered a Viton o ring kit from amazon, but none of the 7mm o rings are larger than a 2 CS, so they aren't thick enough.

If we knew what the sizes were there are a billion places to order them from. I couldn't find any specifications related to the Bosch part numbers.

I would appreciate it if you could take a measurement of both o rings, thanks in advance.
