Hi all, so I have a aldon distributor with ignitor electronic ignition, newly rebuilt engine, on Monday I had the engine running perfectly all day, in the evening I drove it into the garage, Tuesday morning I turned the key and it just turned over without firing, I'm getting no spark whatsoever, after lots of troubleshooting I'm putting it down to the dizzy, I am running a new lucas 105 gold, which I have only just read online ( it's still hard to find) but says this coil SHOULD NOT be used with the ardon ignitor,
So have I just fried my ignitor module by running it for a few hours or should this not affect it that severely?
Appreciate any help! Thank you

The first step is to check for power to the module and coil while cranking. This must be above 9.6v.

I’ve had two ignitors fail in ten years, both with the correct 3 ohm coil.
Was the push I needed to get a swiftune csi.
Basic wiring checks first to make sure you’ve got power at the ignitor, and a decent ground.
