[Rubbershorts]

Hi all. I really dislike the heater valve that sits under the bonnet. It's the one that is chopped into the pipe that comes out of the bulk head and has the big looping cable going to it. The both always gets in the way. The valve is refusing to stop the water flow to the heater when closed, so has to come off anyway. Can I convert to the later twin point option that sits at the side of the heater in the car? I believe it requires the shorter cable. I've attached Minispare pictures of the bits I think I need. Has anyone done it, and would it be straight forward. Does anyone have a picture of it's proper location when fixed in the car?
