I picked up the car today and drove it 30 miles home — everything went well enough!
The car drives nicely. There are some rattles and noises, but it feels solid and tracks straight.
The engine is a carbureted 1275 (I think originally from an SPI/MPI), and I noticed that the throttle pedal has a long travel, but most of the response happens in the first quarter. Could it be that the carburetor is oversized? I’ll look into it.
