The inside is fine, can't see any cracks.

That looks like casting marks not cracks.

Hi AC, I don't think they are all casting marks, I'll take more pics tomorrow.

They aren't cracks.

Turn it up side down and put some light oil in it, see if any runs through after a few days.

Ive had this worry in the past. Youll find its casting marks 👍

Hi,

 

I saw the same on the Moop's casing about 28years ago (when I first took the engine out) and it is still the same no oil coming from that area.

Definitely cracks. On the outer layer. I can grind them away. No leaks. And no sign of any cracks on the inside.
