I need a new exhaust for my pick up. I have an lcb so do I stick an rc40 or maniflow from minispares on. I want a 2 box system.
Sorry just saw the typo on the subject heading!
Cheers

The Maniflow are built stronger, but ae not as quiet as the RC40.

I used to run 2-box Maniflow, but had trouble with the noise checks on rallies after a few events. I switched to RC 40 and their 2-box system has lasted well.

I have had to weld skid plates onto the RC 40 boxes.

In the end it's personal choice.

I have each. They are both effective. The Maniflow is finished more neatly.

HOWEVER, support from Maniflow back office is non existent. I have had problems with failure and non fitting of the exhaust hanger kits and could not get any response.

I run Maniflow SS Cooper exhaust manifolds which are extremely good and are not as noisy as I was led to believe.

RC40 is pretty much Fit and Forget. Maniflow looks far nicer but the hangers need checking fairly often. Fortunately, the rear boxes are tough: I know this when mine fell off due to hanger failure. It went back on with no struggle when I reached home.

Ok thanks
As its a pick up that changes things slightly.
MS recommended the maniflow for ease of fitment. Are the hangars just not man enough for the job

I fitted a Maniflow to my pickup. I think the RC40 range didn't cover the longer body; they may do now. It was a good system.

Ye MS said maniflow was a better fit with less hassle
