My son, Mick, drove my 1964 Cooper 'S' on the Chelmsford Motor Club East Anglian Classic rally this weekend with Martyn Taylor navigating.
They achieved an excellent 4th overall and 1st in class.
The first three in general classification were a Mk2 Escort RS2000, a 1977 Mitsubishi Colt Lancer and a 1990 Mazda MX5.
Thus a great result for a Mini against much more modern stuff. The Mini ran faultlessly all weekend, I am pleased to say.
