I am installing a KAD quickshifter on my 2000 MPI. The shift is very stiff, but I am getting into all gears. It's so tight that I cannot wiggle freely at neutral. I already greased it and cycled through the gears. Also, it is sitting lower than the pictures I see online. The grease fitting is basically touching the body. The gearbox housing bushings at the back flex a lot, but they are not cracked. The gearbox housing is sitting closer to the left side than the right, but that's how it was with the factory shifter before installation.
Any tips will be appreciated.
