Hi i have bought my 8th mini and i built 3 from bare shells back in the day, also made wiring looms for kit cars and rally cars but, this one has foxed me. it is mishmash and dash and wiring like you would not believe, i ripped out the fuse box once i found it under the dash and fitted a new one but cannot find any wiring schematics any where close, it has 4 fuses but the lower fuse 25a has a thick green/yellow cable drawing 12 amps with nothing on apart from the ingition and it gets hot but no idea where it goes, also hazard switch colours are diferent ie top 2 connection feed through to indicator stalk are red/brown can anyone help please

I think the Green/ Yellow wire is used as the feed for the heated rear window.

Mystery solved, I striped back all the horrible sticky insulating tape and cut off all the loom wrap and found numerous wires with colour changes soldered so nothing matched. the green and yellow which looked suspiciously like 4mm earth cable was just that and spliced to the wiper switch on the steering colomn, the current drain is a seized wiper motor trying to return and park.
