Hello

New front loom AN124 arrived yesterday, laid out on floor checking where all wires go.
I've fitted one of these a few years ago, so should go in ok.
But there is this wire, that I do not remember being there on the previous loom.

The red/white one with the odd connector, what connects to this?

It actually appears to me to be White / Red, which is to the coil on the Starter Solenoid.

If I am wrong here and it's Red / White, that's Park Lamps - fused.

yes it is White / Red
the rubber grommet in the image is the one that goes inside car under the centre dash console, so seems odd place for a Starter Solenoid wire

It is there as they have a join under the dash for where the automatic selector inhibitor switch connects. When a manual is fitted, the wires are just plugged together.

The Wires to the Ignition Switch, where this one would be headed for, do come down that way. There is in most looms a M and F connector about were you are at to head to the Auto Inhibitor Switch as 68+86 mentioned.
