Hi all

I have joined this forum today to start to pick your brains on two minis I have.

Currently Clubby78 is on the road, and undergoing a bit of surgery. New cross Member.

Bought in 86 turned upside down for floor repair in 88, and the chap did not turn up. So thought do it myself, my daughter was born in 89 and son in 91 Fast forward 25 years and I finally got the welding done. Got her back on the road 2013. Love it.

My other car is a 1981 HL bought in 88 ran her for 15 plus years built two engines in her 998 rebored +10, high lift cam lightened balance flywheel, 40DCOE webber and went off the clock, ran to london a back 80 miles a day for best part of 5 years with the occasional niggle. covered her 20 years ago as MoT fail uncovered three years ago and could have cried riddled with holes.

So built a scaffold cube frame and made a rotisserie and got the floor sorted and currently fitting subframes back.

I signed up today as I have a question regarding brace bars but I dont know where or how to post.

I will edit this over time. But in the meantime I look forward to being a member of this family.

regards

Luke (aka Clubby78)

PS Clubby is hoping to attend again this year Brands Hatch mini Festival.

Welcome! In a similar situation here, was getting close with a mini project and then two kids came along

We're now 7 years later and i have barely touched the mini. Just starting to get my mojo back for the mini - but don't have much time for it!  Hoping i dont have to wait 25 years to drive it!  O_O
