Hi all

i have stripped the front of my mini all front end and trimmed inner wings to the bulk head.

fitted the subframe with solid mounts and now trying to fit Mini spares brace bars as I would like a flip front moving forward.

lining up the bolt hole and need to drill second hole in the subframe, but on marrying up before drilling, the top of the race bar is not a very good fit, do I need to bend the top to fit?

Or am I missing something?

Photos to follow, just thought I would get this out there

A bit late now but you would have been better getting rose jointed bars as sold by owens fabs for a bit of wiggle room.

Bear-in-mind that removing the original structural body panels and replacing with bracing bars will be classed as a major structural change and will probably require an  inspection (SVA, IVA, or whatever it's called).
