Starting My Mini Up

Hi all.
Need some help with an issue that has so far beaten me.
All indicators and hazards work fine except the warning on dash for the right turn indicator.
I've swapped the bulbs over to prove the bulb is ok and i've checked continuity on the foil circuit board.
Everything checks out ok but still no right turn warning light.
Mini is a 1980 850 saloon so if anyone has any ideas your help would be most welcomed.

Test if you get the signal at the dash connector plug.

I have had similar issues and it was the connection between the bulb holder and the circuit board. Have you checked there is power on the circuit board where the bub holder plugs in? I cured mine with a small piece of tin foil between the bulb holder and circuit board. Good luck.

It should be a centre speedo.
The flashing side uses the other side as an earth. There must be an earth on the non flashing side before the bulb. Most likely the bulb holder itself, the correct one is made of plastic.
.... the bulb hasn't been swapped for an LED??? That'd cause it too.

It should be a centre speedo.

It has been swapped, before my ownership, to the two dials above the steering wheel (I'd prefer to change it back, but that's for another day!).
Interesting point about the earth as I didn't think to check the working side.
No issue with bulbs or bulb holder as have been swapped side to side.
Will also need to check for the signal at the connector.

In that case they both earth via the printed circuit along with the dash illum bulbs. Sounds like the wiring could have been extended to reach the new dash. Finding those join(s) could be a good move.
