You want to keep the extra lights on, they're not just for show, yaknow. Minis have quite small headlights, so you'll need all the extra illumination that you can get.

Mini's have 7" headlamps. They're standard size. The same lamps were fitted to loads of British and European cars throughout the sixties and seventies, and still are fitted to Land Rovers among other things.

But you will need the extra main beam lighting. It is very useful.

And lay off Miniman5's typing. You're always having a go at him. I know it's hard to read sometimes but he is getting better. I was Dyslexic as a Kid, and so was my little brother. He'll grow out of it.

I think it's down to personal taste
I prefer it with the spots on :grin:
But......
if you like it without, hey it's your mini

at least it's not one of them there German things
