Right I know theres a post from Simon at minispares up above but a real live post from someone who brought cheap cones
and I know many many others brought these very same cheap cones from a chap on miniclassic 2-1/2 'ish years ago
now me being me took around a year before fiting these cones well after less than 18months on the car look what I found :w00t:
through the rear hole in the subframe on the left hand side

and now off

so I would advise anyone that brought any of these cheap cones off miniclassic to go and have a damn good investigate of their suspention
that rip could not be seen while the subframe was in
I paid about £50 for the set of 4
I was forever haveing to raise my hilos to compensate for the damn things sagging
right now I have a used rear pair on the front of my mini and with my hilo set about 5mm shorter than they were my mini is about 4" too high Lol

no damage to the mini just to my pocket Lol
but considering how I drive it some days it could have been very nasty :w00t:
I just thought that I should post this to warn anyone else who brought any of these cones from Brumski on miniclassic

If it don't say Moulton round the outside, then don't use them...

100% agree with john on this one, don't use anything other than original Moulton cones.

no offence, but the ones you got even look like rubbish. don't compromise on these items, they really are the mini's main suspension component.

if anyone else has these fitted i would change them as soon as.. this guy should be shot >:w00t:

Dunlop ones should have Moulton on the other side..

as in Dr Alex Moulton the designer of the mini suspension
