Depends what arches you have on your car. If they are large like sportspack you do not have and problams but if they are smaller like most standard Minis you will need to cut the bodywork a bit to make them fit then fit larger arches to cover them to make them nice and legal.

so if i had a say a mayfair i would have to cut bodywork.?

and i was thinking about sportpack arches. Would i have to fit spaces or anything so that the wheels were flush with the edge of the arch rather.

What year is the car? and also, what width are the wheels you want to fit? If they are 7" wide they should fill out sportspack arches.

7x13s fill the sprtspacks lovely. It does require a lot of cutting on the front but the finished article is well worth it...

its really not a lot of cutting, its about an inch all the way around the wheel arch which takes about 30 mins per side to cut with a jigsaw file down to smooth and repaint a bit. doesnt have to be a perfect finish as the arch's will cover it anyway its just to stop them rusting.
