disconnecting the spedometer cable

I'm strugling to disconnect my spedo cable. In the manual it says something about depressing a locking tab on the cable end. Is that the big white plastic bit? I've squeezed and pulled and twisted and pressed at it, but nothing.

Has anyone disconnected that before?

speedo end on mine. Is a black round plug, with a thin grey bar which u push in while u take the cable off the speedo.

i don't think I have that. The end of mine is like a white plastic cap thing.

i think you squeeze it to get it to release, seem to remember them biung a right :w00t: of a job!!
