ive got LOADSA chrome bits for my mini (door handles door mirrors, internal door handles etc) but are these frowned on? i really love them but i dont want her to look to tacky! also the interior on mines okish but id like to redo it. is it more benifitial for me to keep the original or have new? :D little confused about these little bits. greatfull for any ideas!

it dont look tacky to me mate! look at mine for too much chrome!

a bit of chrome is good, certainly not tacky but it comes down to personal taste

Now't wrong with plenty of chrome. It doesn't look bad unless it's poor quality and corrodes quick IMHO. Then you get discoloured chrome and chips and stuff which looks terrible. As long as you clean it often it'll look great.

And for your interior, unless your car is some really rare special edition it won't do you much harm to swap it out. A really nice custom trim can add loads to your cars price and make it stand out. You can always store the original somewhere if you are woried about it. A Mini interior doesn't take up too much space once you fold the seats flat. I used to keep the new interior for my GFs car under my bed 'till we were ready to fit it.

try asking my mate, he basically wants a completely chrome mini, with odd touches of black.

go for the chrome, i think it looks cool!

but thn again, i want a bright pink convertable mini with pink fluffy interior, so what do i kno!

Ir eckon that those chrome wheelarches look dreadful. Some people just go over the top. But, if it looks good to you, that's all that matters.

Chrome looks great, but ive seen a few minis with chrome everything, the headlamp eyebrows look slightly ott i think, but other than that, chrome rocks, i jst gotta chrome mine out when the engine and brakes are sorted, as u can see its kinda all black bits atm, bumpers, grille, arches, everything, cant wait to see it gleaming
