i want to no the dimentions of the Alpine SWR1041D sub it is 10'' but im making a enclosure and want to now how big the hole for the sub needs to be do you think ill be safe by cutting the hole 8 inch and the whan i get the sub and fit it trim it shorter

also can any one tell me the measurments of the boot of a mini mayfair thanks

the boot size will all be the same but then again no mini is the same! some are bent and stuff :D

Or you could buy the sub,
Place it face down on your board,
Draw round it,
Then measure the lip on the sub,
Transfer that to the board and draw a circle inside the the circle.

Most Alpine speakers come with a template drawn onto the inside of the cardboard packaging, all you have to do is cut out the template with a pair of scissors (get a grown-up to help you), draw around it onto your piece of board, drill a hole, insert your jigsaw, and cut a circle. Bingo. Bob's yer uncle.
