I just bought some 6x9's from a local shop for £30, rated 150w RMS. There pretty bassy and that too. After some dremeling of parcel shelf....there fitted for now. And what can i say, there BOSTIN!#
recormended upgrade for any mini. hehe
Going abit def now tho....Just need a free-air sub for the rh side of boot.

the original speakers in my mayfair are V good! yet unbelevably small! they rock! :grin:

6 x 9's are always a good upgrade and sound particularly good on the rear shelf of a mini. If you want to improve the performance further i'd suggest trying to seal the boot as best you can as this gives even better results.

cheers. Will try n seal the boot when i get around to doing that area.
They rock, but my ears are gunna hurt when i get front speakers near dash and maybe some underseat ones.
