I've just landed myself one of these, and as im a little unexperienced, i was wondering if one of you kind folk would be able to point me in the right direction as to what bits and bobs i need for it, i know i need clutch plate, diaphragm and bolts and such n such, but i dont know which ones!?!

Already have the backplate, keyed washer and centre bolt on order from KAD by the way

Am i right in thinking im going to need some spacers too depending on the thickness of the clutch plate?

thanks guys

james

depending on what engine you will depend on what type of clutch and diaphram you need eg, yellow, organe, red etc.

Is that the one that was on ebay the other week??

Im gonna be very honest and say that the friction surface looks a little cooked to me, but it looks as though it could be replaced easily enough.

still, very nice piece of kit

Right stop it, just stop it! Your going to end up going far too fast at this rate! Or give all the horney bits to me!

I was more concerned with the friction surface on the flywheel, rather than the friction plate. We are talking about the same thing?

The metal looks rather blued and is an indication that it has been overheating and changed the molecular structure of the steel. Some symptoms of this may include clutch judder on take up.
