I took out the spot lights, indicators etc, chopped the roof by a couple of inches, fitted aftermartet Boyd Coddington wheels, fixed the horrible front bumper and lowered it severly.

pffffft my hot rod version is lower and the paint is still shiny....

Yeh how do you do that!? Anyway its satin paint!!!
aye it's factory original 1275 satin red block enamel!!!
Well, it's harder for you because you've smoothed the body off too, so you airbrushed the crease out. but basically, you select the layer, in this case the bare shell, and change the 'hue' and saturation.
contrast helps too as it higlights shine and enriches the colour, which is why mine soo red.
