Hey guys, after two failed attempts and lots of mini-heartache, I've finally bitten the bullet and invested in a mini for more than the price of fish. And here he is, Eugene!




















Here's a few details:

• He's a 1987 mayfair with a cooper makeover
• He's had a MG Metro 1275 dropped in (which sounds a sweet as a nut from what I can tell)
• Engine has an LCB and RC40, plus electronic ignition
• 13x7
• Full leather cooper interior
• And touch wood, not a speck of rust on him!

It was owned previously by the son of the guy who runs Double Dee Autos mini garage, so he hasn't missed a trick with it. Rebuilt with new panels and rear subframe about 2/3years ago, with a bloody nice Tahiti and Silver respray. Everything in it is as good as new: doors don't have any sag, interior light works, heater is effective(!) Will have to have a closer look in the daylight tomorrow, but I'm bloody chuffed for £1800!
