Hi there my local garage told me i need some new engine stabilizer bushes, and that i should probably buy them from a specialist. Can you reccomend a bush kit for me and also is this this what i am looking for??

Cheers

Yes, get the hard rubber ones from minispares though :genius:

There is a guide in the FAQ on changing them :w00t:

You'll need two packs to change all the bushes :genius: If you earth lead is looking a bit ropey its worth doing that at the same time too.

It only takes about half an hour to do all four (as long as all the bolts come out!) and is really easy. It is literally just undoing some bolts and doing them back up !

yeah, you might find it all a bit nosier in the car. Also I found them a complete pig to fit.

Could be.

Genuine rover std rubber ones last the longest in my experience. And do not squeak etc.

If its a standard tune engine then standard bushes will do just fine, you might find you get more of the forward and backward engine movement transfered thru the car now with the uprated ones.

Personal preferance tho really.

I didnt notice any difference fitting those normal Poly ones :genius: Apart from not being able to wobble the engine about all over the place of course ! :w00t:
