I've had my mini (Minty) for about a month now and thought it about time to register on here!
He's an '86 C Mayfair 998cc in Silk Green.
I'm in Aylesbury (Bucks) and want to go to meets etc as my mini is currently functioning, much to my excitement.
He's pretty much original, needs a bonnet badge and a couple of overflow pipes in the engine are missing, the wheels are horrible and all the black plastic trim is very light grey - apart from that and a little bit of tinworm he's a good solid car. Bought him on ebay (where else?!) and just like our last 2 ebay cars, is proving so far to be a good buy.
I don't want to mod him too much, quite pleased with how original he is to be honest! Only thing was to possibly paint the roof, mirrors & wheel trims white, and possibly put a dashboard in... maybe. Also fancy some angel-eye headlights and spotlights on the grill, the usual! No stripes though, I like him as a mayfair for now at least.
