Been using a different forum since I bought my mini about a year and a half ago and thought it was time to make some new friends!
Am based in Bristol. I've got a Mini City E reg with 1275 metro engine in. I've done a lot on it - changed engine and gear box, stage 1 kit, steering rack, put classic styled 10'' wheels on and wing mounted bullet mirrors - classic low back buckets, walnut dash, tiny 60s style steering wheel, painted the roof and front end..... basically I've turned a scrapper into a slightly more attractive faster little bundle of rusty joy.
Of course, it's still a mini so it's always got something wrong with it, am going to replace the alternator and accelerator cable tonight after it jammed in full throttle at about 60mph on boxing day nearly causing me to disappear up the arse of someone in front / shoot across a roundabout at top speed... then 10 minutes later it ran out of batteries. Lush.

P.S. Oh, and I forgot to say - currently half way through helping my mate stick a VTEC in his clubman. I had a dream that he had no legs anymore. Slightly concerning but we're going to do it anyway!
