Hi, sorry for digging up an old post but I have a similar issue. Initially thought it was the can shaped flasher unit on the bulk head as it was rotted to bits, but since changing it, nothing has really changed. I haven't tried hitting the switch while indicator was on though to see if they stopped flashing, don't know if it's related but interior light doesn't work either. (1990 Racing Green by the way)

I have a similar issue, but mine is that the hazards work but the indicators do not. Took the hazard switch out and tgere is NOTHING connected to the bottom 2 prongs on the hazard switch and hence no live feed to the indicators. As the car had a complete new loom 2 tears ago I can only assume that the connectors have pulled out of the connector block and are hiding behind the dash somewhere.I'm very annoyed because I spent a fortune restoring this car and more and more aftermarket parts appear to be very poor quality. Its only done about 600 miles since resto and parts are failing already...and tes, I did use reputable suppliers for everything....
