im looking into buying a jack knight straight cut close gear ratio kit and wondered what should i expect to pay for it new and second hand?

Personally I would steer away from JKD, what with their recent trading issues.... There are far more reliable retailers out there supplying top quality items...

I would try Min-its or Minispares

I don't really know about their recent problems, but I've had a JK gearset and SC drop gears and thought they were top notch!
