Don't do anything with the wheels, you'll loose the handling of one of the best cars ever produced. If you really want to fill the arches drop the whole thing by 35mm it will then become more of a go-kart than it already is. Oh how I wish money wasn't always a problem, I'd buy another (had 5 already) & enter the MR2 cup next yeear.

But from the looks of the first few pics the wheels have already been changed, although admittedly 17s would make it even worse.

yeh wheels had been changed and now have the ones in the pictures above.
if thats the case.. then i might do as phateon said and lower the car... and have the wheels recon'd

Yeah sorry meant don't bother increasing the size from 15" the wheels you have on there look real good as it is. However if you do 'FEEEEL' the need to remove them, I can offer a good free home for them :D

lol... the wheels look okay... but they dont fill the arches.. and it looks like the car is too high for the wheels.
Alan i might keep you in mind :D

but ur idea of lowering it, would be easier as suspension was going to be changed in any case, may as well go for adjusting suspension.
and drop it until the wheels look sensible.
