Hi All,
Trying to clear out my bits box a bit and I have a clutch slave cylinder and the tall brake cylinder with two pipes coming out of it (dont know what its called !).
Is there anyway of 'testing' them out of the car to make sure they work ok ?
Thanks
Jimmy

Dunno, but as you have a fairly general title I thought I'd do a little hijack
Are plastic master cylinders better? I think my clutch is leaking, I am getting a bit of fluid on the pedal and it does look a bit battered!!

No easy way to test them off the car as far as i know...
And with regards the plastic ones, i think they are better, because you can keep an eye on the fluid level without taking the cap off. They fit all minis as well...

The seals will perish eventually, so be careful...! They may not be any use at all...

if you are very bored and patitent, you can dismantle them, i believe older haynes manuals give u a strip down guide. follow directions carefully tho.
