Hi,

I have an old style mini with the bonnet release at the grill, is it possible to convert to a release in the car??
I have also seen a video of a mini, where there is a quick release on the bonnet hinges, so the actual bonnet comes of the car, has anyone else seen this?

Thanks karl

internal release is easy. Mini Spares do a kit for about £30 I believe.

get that then a grill to get rid of the external release then done.

As for these "quick release" bits I think you mean bonnet pins. Use them insted of having hinges and locks.

Then you take the whole bonnet off in one go.
