I did try searching for this, but when 26 pages came up and after not finding the answer in the first 6 pages I gave up...

My near side front indicator isn't working! All the others work!
First I thought it might be the bulb...but after changing that (and trying the new bulb on the other side, just to check it actually works) it still doesnt work??

Anyone any ideas? I'm a little confuzzled!
Thanks, Sian :(

It could be a earthing problem on that side?

Get a multimeter and test across the two contacts to see if your getting any voltage to the contact's. If your not then disconnect the indicator wire from the main circuit and check that there is a good connection between the circuit and the bulb connector's. If that's ok start looking for an earthing problem. Dan will be able to give better advice im sure but that's what I would do.

Oh first take the flasher unit out of the circuit and connect the two connection's with a wire so the lights are always on. will allow you to test the circuit easier.

Does'nt work when your using the hazards I guess?

Also you did't sell her then :(

HI, and thanks for that fabulous introduction!

If it's just one lamp out and the actual bulb is healthy then it's pretty much either the connection or earth for that lamp only. Check the wiring behind the slam panel, it could be damaged. You are looking for the Green/Red wire. There may be a black wire for the earth or it may be earthed directly through the lamp body dpeending on the year of your car. Check any connections you find in this wiring for corrosion. Also check the lamp holder for damage and good contact. As above, use a meter or a test lamp to check these things.

You wouldn't have had this problem if you'd sold the mini when you said you were going to sell it! :( ;)*
