I know there are many many posts on arches and I have looked but they are mostly 'what arches shall i have'.

I was hoping somebody could tell me which arches require cutting of the wings to fit. I know sportspac do, but i want a wide arch that doesn't need cutting of the bodywork.

I love the group 2's but i don't like the lip on them and i have searched and searched the net for group 2's with no lip because i'm positive i have seen a picture of them! Do they exist?

I found the linky with the pics of all of the arches so i know whats what. I don't plan on fitting any larger wheels at the moment (i currently have 12's) Just want wider arches. I know my wheels may look a little lost with wide arches but i like them like that :(

Many thanks

its not the arches you have to cut the wings for its the wheels

5 inch is about as wide as you can go depending on off set

ah, i see, so it would be thearetically possible to fit sportspac arches without cutting the wings? my current wheels are i think 5 by 12's. I have chrome arches at the moment and trying to keep them clean is like pinning poop to a wall ;)

yes you could have sports pack arches and 5x12 wheels bot it would not look right :'(

whats the problem with cuting the arches ?

its not hard to do and the arch covers up what you have cut anyway ;)

Its only really because i'm in the middle of a paintjob dispute :'( so i didn't really want to cut into the bodywork but was after some new arches. I could be patient but it could take up to six months to get a result, but i really dislike the chrome ones and am after a new set but don't like the plain rover arches either. I know, i'm a fussy madam.

I like my wheels and don't really have much spare cash to get a new set so was hoping to find a nice set of chunky monkey arches to fit the wheels I had, without looking like my wheels are lost which i suppose they would with sportspac ;)

Because i don't like those either ;)

I know i'm being really awkward, i don't mean to be. I just can't make decisions, so after having the ones i've got on put on, I changed my mind.

Just like when we drag you round the shops with us and then go back to the first thing we saw.

I really like the wider arches, but don't have the wheels to match I suppose.

like previously said 12x5's will look a bit silly with SP arches. the only thing i can advise is having a look through a few sites and finding some thing you like, You can always buy some bigger/wider arches and personalise them to make them individual to you? Thats what i have done with my Miglias.

There is a way around it :D

i feel your pain ive got 12x6 and want some wider arches and dont really want to go cutting the body too. but your right the lip of gp2 wide looks a bit naff with no trim on it. Has anyone smoothed this out on theres is it pos? are the gp5 euro much wider than gp2 wide i read that they were ment to fit on with no mod and they have no lip.
