I've done a search and cant find anything (although the answer is probably somewhere in the thousands of pages!)
I think they stopped working when I knocked a speaker wire out of the back of the stereo, so I thought fuse, but everything else on that fuse works fine (stereo etc).
So i'm thinking it must be a connection somewhere but i've tried them but still to no avail
I've had problems with them in the past, and it has just been a loose connection, but this time seems different, what with the wiper motor getting very hot while they're in the 'on' postion on the stalk....
Please help!
Ta,
Joe

Sorry mate, but im electrically challenged! But since no one else has i'll have a pop...it could just be that it has simply failed and turning the current into heat rather than turning the blades.....this post is probably only good for a free bump though! :'(

I think Tommo is on the right lines there, I'd strip the motor and check the brushes.

Do the wiper motor's work without the wipers on?

yeah as tino said, remove the wiper blades and see if it all moves, if not the wheelhouses mite have got siezed, or the motor may have failed!!

Thanks for the feedback people!
I think i'll have to get it to a garage then as I won't get a chance to look at it until Sunday, and it will probably rain before then
Cheers anyway,
Joe

might be the wheel box needs a grease
electric motors get hot when they are doing a lot of work
