LMFAO, now thats funny, sorry but I'd cry laughing if you drove past me! :) Ah well, I'd say there is definitely not something right about that, but if the other side is exactly the same then I'd have to say that its probably all ok. One thing I can think of. Did you change the knuckle joints? Or at least put new ones in? Because if you did, did you get the old ones out? Or, the later, Sportspack knuckle joints have an inbuilt spacer for some reason (to do with the 13" wheels again I think).

I dunno.... could be a new fashion.... the HIGH rider :)

Give it a week and go find some compression dips and yumps on a road, that'll soon sort it out... and as you say the fg front end wont help, if you think how much metal is missing, it's not an insignificant amount of weight..

I like it!

It looks kinda like mine did with the engine out and all new suspension parts fitted!

I am amazed at how high it is, but I guess some of it could be down to the amount of metal taken out of the arches/wings?

I guess all of the top arm, bottom arm, tie bars, whatever has been removed/replaced have been re-tightened with the car on a jack, so perhaps you could slacken off things like the top arm pin and the bottom arm bolt and re-tighten them with the wheel at the normal height, might help it settle????

Hi mate,

I once had this problem I changed the subframe and the cones of the mini and I put some filler under the new knuckle cap so that it stays a bit high from the front, and indeed it stayed!!

But it was too high, we had to get the knucles out again and remove the extra filler added...now its been around one month and a half and the cones are settling properly :)

here is it with the filler under the knucles..

and this is it last week, with everything back in order :)

it is still sitting a bit high, but the cones have only been there three months!

Why would you put filler in the knuckle joint?! :) You'll just wear through the joint quicker, they are meant to be greased!

no actually I put them under the nylon cup, i.e in the place where the knuckle gets in, now I have removed the pase (plastic filler) and put a lot of grease in it, and it works fine now :)

Nothing should be holding it because it should be pivoting on the bearings! :) Lol

As for the filler under the knuckle joints? what the hell??? never head that one!

Good news anyway driven it to work and back and its ALOT lower than yesterday!! :)

Will post pics later.

I think he means a filler piece as in a washer. as in something to fill it out. NOT actual filler i might be wrong though
