Hi all. I need a bit of help because I’ve come to a grinding stop in my project. I put the engine in without to much fuss but now I’m wiring it up there’s a few things I’m not sure about.

First one is the servo take off the inlet manifold which it looks like you no longer have due to the alloy inlet - which means your brakes will be harder to push to get the same braking effort (please check your brakes still even work)

Second if the wire is white with brown trace its the oil pressure light ansd connects to the oil pressure switch just to the left of the dizzy in the photo - cant see what colour the other wire is

Third appears correct and is the low tension wire to the dizzy

Four relay of some sort but not sure on this one as not that familar with later cars may be an indicator relay or harzards not sure it would be fitted there thou'

The relay in that position (rear left hand corner on the triangular bit) is the ignition relay for the pre engaged starter motor.
Your '84 engine has an interia starter motor which uses a solenoid mounted externally (usually on the inner wing). You'll have to adapt the wiring slightly but it's not too hard to make it work.
