The weber seems pretty good nick already had a manifold for a mini to attach to the head. The code on it is 32/34 DMTL.
Any information on it any one could give would be very much appreciated, specially in regards to how it will affect the cars performance?

Thats an interesting one! sounds like what i have put on my mk2 golf!
Sqaure body shape, possibly with circular upper and lower mouting plates? two stage throttle (can feel the 2nd choke when you press the pedal down half way).
They are good carbs, a little rare to be fitted to a mini, the manifold must be interesting.
If you need any parts for it, contact burlen fuel systems in salisbury, or southern carburetters (think there near london)
If its on a 1275, with the right jets i would have thought youd get pretty good fuel economy, with good but not mega performance. Prob more effiecient than an SU (if set right), but harder to set up. Try it and see!

It's a 32/34 DTML funnily enough!
Webber replacement for the standard French carb (can't remember the make) fitted to late carb Vauxhall and VAG cars as said above. AFAIK it's a standard type replacement for a worn carb (or more normally fitted as it was cheaper than a manual choke conversion for the awful auto choke on the French joke carb fitted in the factory) and not a performance carb by any stretch and I seriously doubt it would be more efficient than an SU under any circumstances, especially an HIF.
