For those in the READING area, the registration is;

P571 GOP

Hope you dont mind me posting it up Roo, if you would like me to remove it then please PM me.

Just thought it would help so people would know what they are looking for.

Thats fine pie. Cheers

The police have told me not to worry and that if anything happens it won't come under my name. They've tagged them so if the losers do use them and pass speed cameras and vans, cctv in petrol stations, town centres, police etc, they will be caught.

I've told the police that they were stupid to do it to my car cause of it being so individual. I had to ask if i will get pulled over when i put my new plates on the car. luckily they won't. I was like 'If you see a purple mini with my plates, don't pull it over, it will be me'

Car is off the road for a bit anyway cause i'm waiting for the alternator to be delivered.

steveobennet there are alot of chavs in the area. They hang around the shop opposite where my car is parked.

And if you think its bad enough stealing plates. It was done when my car was parked on the drive!!! >:D

Thanks pie.

I'm looking into personalised number plates for my birthday which is next week. I've been looking into them for the last year so thought this would be a good chance to go for them. i'll let you know if i decide to go ahead with them or not.

mates tele-handler, which rarely goes on the road, let alone out of leicestershire, received a parking fine, stolen fuel, and congestion charges in one week.

Was kinda funny, because it only does 18mph.

Good job you sorted out the tagging business.

My mum had her tank of petrol stolen the other day, in a public car park. Broad daylight, busy too.

Unbelievable.

ahh, why not do it more covertly and just have plates made up with a reg you have seen? Not that i condone this

that would cost them money and you now need to show your V5 to get plates made up

You can get 'show plates' made up at most shows though, you don't need to show a V5 for that do you? Also, I've been into local motor factors recently and asked about getting plates made up, they just said 'Yeah £9, do you want front and back and what reg number' They didn't ask me for a V5 at all! The only reason I didn't get any was because they couldn't do black/silver ones!
