caliper colour??

right. its the last thing to do on my reconditoned brake setups. what colour shall i paint my calipers??

the rest of the car is black and chrome, and running black 10" mambas - the rest of the brake setups are painted black aswel.

I've painted mine red and the fiesta ones that i'm reconditioning, I'm painting in burning orange.. well, it's more like yellow, but looks fast :gimme:

i'd prob go for a few coats of hammerite gold spray can, or silver to match the minifins.....

shall i paint them before or after fittin the new pots an seals?
and should i paint the inside bit - (the face which the pots and padsare on?)

personally i would only paint the bits that are visable... but you can paint it all apart form working parts obviously!

I'd and actually will paint calipers inside out, except the piston hole etc ofcourse.. looks much nicer that way.. :D

JoeBodge - my engine is already painted with the same colour as my calibers will be, will look very nice :)

Before ofcourse :D I've had all parts dismantled for easy cleaning and painting.

right - rubbed them down - masked them up - sprayed in primer - shall i flatten back the primer before sprayin the colour coat?
