Hi all, new to this forum, but I live for minis so I thought id give it a go!!

Some Pics of my 4 year new shell build, work in progress and finished article at last years Southern Mini Days Concourse, Full mini magazine feature coming soon.
1399cc a series, CMES race head, twin 1 3/4" SUs, MBE race ITG air filter and stub stack assembly, Kent 286 Cam, Aldon Yellow Dizzy, Maniflow steel inlets, Large bore LCB and 2" race system. Shade over 100 bhp at wheels on Slark's Rollers.

AVO Shocks, Hi-Los, Rose jointed bottom arms, adjustable tie bars, Rear adjustable camber brackets, all deflex mounted.

Mini Sport 4 pot alloy brakes with vented 7.9" discs, Minifins on rear.

Off the road at the mo because a) the clutch is so heavy it stalls the engine when you press it on idle and has blown all the seals in the master cylinder! B) im a tart and dont want to get my white subframes dirty in this crappy weather. c) ive flattened the battery by standing it over the winter and demonstrating my stereo to everyone. DOH!

First show should be Riviera Run so i'll see you all there hopefully!!

Im planning a Z Cars Hayabusa next as a weekend toy, but ive got to save up for the kit first! not to mention getting hold of a straight donor car!

Sorry all, internet was down last night at home! Brawlyrox, I would love to go to Germany, whens it happening and how much is it? my missus and brother would be up for as well, Missus has a 1380 and my brother has a 1340, we have been talking about going to the ring for ages! the only thing is I couldnt put stickers all over my car, sorry.

@lex, the tyres are amazing, grip like nothing ive ever driven before, but dont even think about using them on a daily driver unless you dont want to drive like a loon all the time, ive done 1500 miles and the fronts are nearly half worn!! although that was quite a hard 1500 miles, I cant help it, it just wheelspins everywhere! :D

Thanks for all the positive comments guys, makes all the hard work worthwhile, looking forward to meeting up at all the shows this year.

The Run to the Ring is in August/September, all details can be found here. It really is an awesome trip, and nearly everyone who goes one year returns the next!

Think I might notice if my MBs walked!! they are the daddy though gotta be 10s if you want it to handle like a proper mini, got sick of tramlining with my 13X7s, light as a feather too. had to wait 6 months for them to be made though!! got to be 1380+ mate!!! even considering a KAD head or Supercharger next but its tricky keeping 100bhp out of the ditch let alone 160, part of the reason im considering the bike engine as you dont get torque steer from the rear wheels!!

Where bouts in Reading you from Rodders, im in Thatcham but I work in Theale, dont use the mini for driving to work though, roads too crappy, let the company van get filthy instead! you in TVMC?
