I've had this knocking ever since I over inflated my tyres and its staring to get me a bit concerned.

I've checked everything I can think of, the lower arm, the damper, the trackend rod etc and they are all solid........ or so they seem.

So what else can I do, any help would be welcome? :D

Thanks

Rich

Check subframe mounts too. Open bonnet and get someone to turn the steering wheel from side to side whilst the car is parked. If the whole engine moves from side to side then your subframe mounts are shot.

This happened to my car and manifested itself with a clunking noise when going over bumps, very hard to reproduce when the car isn't moving, but I fitted some solid subframe mounts and it was cured, the old rubber mounts had been chewed to pieces so worth checking.
