I am going for a Megajolt kit (MAP setup, Ford EDIS, VR pickup and EDIS-4 Coilpack). Now, didn't the Fords that ran this ignition system have funny leads? I think they had a double clip arrangement on them rather than just being push fit??...............
Anyway, if anyone else out there is running the same coil, what leads are they using? Ford Fiesta ones? If so, who is a good supplier of some nice spangly shiney racey blinging leads with all of the funky colours to choose from? I am sure the standard ones will be up to the job though
For reference, the set of bits are like these ones:

Was going to, but didn't know how long leads needed to be in comparison with a Fester. I am sure the standard Fiesta ones will do it *runs off to nick mum's leads*

Halfords do universal lead kits. You buy the length of lead you need and then the correct connector kit for the car (coil) you have. Self assemble and your done. This information was imparted to me by ed4an.

Okies, will bear that in mind. Sounds like the best way to get them sorted, cheers MS

Added onto this thread, rather than start another:
I have no output on the multiplug for a rev counter, should be on pin 11 (clean tacho out). I could modify the plug and put a new connector on it, or I could get another plug?
Is this the only place I can pick up for the tacho, or can I pick up off the coil?

i'm just using fiesta leads, plenty of length on em to mount the coilpack on me bulkhead or anywhere else really.
As for the rev counter i drilled the EDIS plug and jammed a wire in...jobs a goodun.

but this isn't a standard mini....
you can feed it off the coilpack but it needs a circuit making up with diodes and stuff, it's explained properly on the jolt website with diagrams and stuff.
