hey,

I have come to toe conclusion that the tools that i used are knackered so i have decided to invest in a new compressor and gas welder which along with my new pannels should get my sheel stucturley sweet. Welder wise i am fine and i have chosen one from screw fix which is a 180 amp gas welder but here is my problem. I am after a compresor and spray gun but i really dont know what to look at What size compresor do i need and what kind of gun will i need? I found a pretty good one in the screwfix catalouge for £40 but it needed a compresor with a minimum CFM of 7.6 and then i realised that it was all out of my depth so can any one advise me on what i need what i want and where to get it ?

I am thinking of having my car painted Tahiti blue/subaru blue with black wellers and a cadbrys purple roll cage. but if any oone has any suggestions for a low wide deseamed miglia arched beatie please feel free to suggest :genius:

Thanks Tomm

I'm planning on orange and black... i.e. orange body with black C/F bumpers, arches and mirrors with a black cage, but not till next winter.

you want the biggest compressor you can afford. something that gives out a continuous pressure of around 2 bar whilst spraying. dont get a cheap compressor as they are C**p! gravity fed are far superior. you can pick one up for around £40 which will do the job with ease.
