im in two minds whether to fit a phase 1 cam i bought from avonbar. the engine is a pretty standard turbo unit (rebuilt) apart from lightened clutch kit and an intercooler, 8psi actuator (to start with). will it be worth it or shall i just leave the standard cam in. i aim to get 10psi when im finished.

not that i'm going to be of any help but i was wondering whether you could fit some 1.5 rockers instead of a cam? would the output be the same, or would the rockers give more torque and the cam more hp?

Standard cam is lame, if you've got it, you might aswell fit it ;)

A decent cam will make the world of difference, i'd fit it, as long as it's in good nic.
As for fitting 1.5 rockers on a standard cam, yes this will make a difference. You'll be getting more lift at any given point, but the duration and in/ex opening times will obviously remain the same.
