Right have searched but never found anything. the suspension on my car has dropped it looks like the front drivers side has been lowered but it hasnt.... any ideas what it could be. Its a J reg mini mayfair.

wont be your shocks

try cones sagged or the little ball on the end of the cone has worn through the plastic cup it sits in

taking it to a mini centre said £40 to fix it and getting it picked up frm body shop for £25 so more money goes on the project....
mini centre think its the knuckle

usual cause of a sudden drop, the plastic cup collapses the suspension will drop over an inch.

difficult to fix myslef?? replacing the suspension anyway.... ideas people please. like what parts do you think id need or you think i should pay and have the knowledge its done by a profesional

If you can afford it replace the lot with adjustable suspension. wont be cheep but betterin the long run. IMO.

they will charge you an hours labour at least no matter how long it takes so thats most of the money there.

best getting it done by a profesional than trying to do it myself and scratching the new paint job tho isnt it....

right went to unit last night and put the new suspension on the front anyway... kind of fixed it a little its not dropped as much, think its drivable now (drivable home atleast).
Any pictures of the cones/cup that may have gone so i know what im looking for??? and places i can get them from aswell.

that's my old cone versus new one. For the plastic cup in the top suspension arm, if its gone it simply has a hole at the bottom
