'lo

i have two complete driveshafts with pot joints and i need to replace the outer CV gaiters.

i have removed the 'pot' from the joint and am left with the bearings and cage/race on the end of the shaft.

how do i get them off?

If you look on the driveshaft side of the joint, you will see a collar. It just needs knocking off the shaft.

It's easier to knock the outer CV off to replace the boots ( both inner and outer ) than removing the pot joint end...

well i havent actuallly taken the other end off yet because i havent had time...

i will knock the outer off then...
