Hi,

I have the later Nippon Seiki 3 clocks in my mini, and since I took them out a week ago, when my lights are on, the left-indicator light is constantly on instead of my speedometer backlight.. so I can't really see my speed at night.

I took the clocks out again, and I *think* the problem is that the plastic circuit board has been ripped in the place shown on the diagram. I tried taping down some copper strands to make a connection but the problem is still there.

Does anyone have any better ideas on how I could solve it?

Cheers.

Get a soldering iron and melt back the insulation on both top sides of the bit that has broken. This will give you some nice new copper. Then you can strip back a length of wire and solder it accross the brake to bridge the gap and let the current flow!!!! tin the wires and copper strip first as this will give you a nice jion when you finally stick the wire down.
